Altar Ego has a wonderful selection of ethically sourced/mostly local goods as well as an inviting and kind staff. The space is absolutely enchanting as well! Such an incredible historic building with so much charm and personality. Devin and company really outdid themselves in making the space a work of art. The spirits are most certainly pleased 🖤

Lots of love and respect for Altar Ego! Devin is honestly just a lovely human who I've gotten to know over the past couple of years as she's done my hair. Beyond her own personal talents (of which there are many: talented stylist, fierce entrepreneur, revolutionary, etc.), she's built an incredibly creative, inclusive place for folks from all walks of life. The shop is full of ethically sourced items from small businesses--stuff you won't find on Amazon or Temu, which is a huge plus for me. I feel like Altar Ego is sincerely a community-centered, community-driven space and that's really refreshing!

Altar Ego is a fun and welcoming shop with friendly staff and a great selection of unique, magical finds. From tarot card readings to workshops, there's always something fun happening. I've been going to the shop owner for my haircuts and color for over a decade and I love the space she has created. Definitely worth checking out!
